Mountain View Homes was founded in 1978 by Coulby Dunn. The company was created out of a need in the Lake Wallenpaupack region of the Pocono Mountains for reasonably priced high quality homes. In the late 1970's and early 1980's all the new homes being built looked the same. Mountain View Homes changed that. They began building customized homes with innovative designs throughout the lake region.

Every Mountain View Home is an original. The homes are usually conceptualized by their owners, then put on the drafting tables, worked and reworked until a full set of working plans are developed. With many owners, living in a home of their own design is an expression of who they are and how they live. That’s how Mountain View Homes brings dreams to life.
